Anime Cipher Chapter 12: The Alvador and The Scroll

Rating: M (due to language only)

Summary: 4 different stories all merge into one great adventure. Kiara Davis, a high school senior has no love greater than anime. But how will she react when some of her favorite anime characters are actually appearing in front of her own eyes? And not only that, but she gets pulled into their world as well! Could it be because of her own private code she created out of pure boredom? What is all this leading to?

“Daiki!” he heard as Kia rushed into him at their school. He groaned, "Ow... Kia. I said hurry, not to run into me..."
"Where is she?!" She said impatiently. "Where's Rayna?!" He got up, “Kia--”
“Where is she?!” she repeated immediately. He answered, “She’s gone... I lost her.” The little hope she had within her died as he said those words. She angrily shouted, “How could you lose her?! You know how worried I’ve been!!!”
“I know! Look, I saw her running through town and I followed her all the way here, but she seemed to vanish.” he tried to explain. She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. She quickly looked around and yelled, “RAYNA!” Her voice echoed around the empty scenery: the school standing proudly behind the school gates, large beautiful trees and bushes surrounding the place, the empty streets nearby, the park across the way.... it was all inhabitant. “RAYNA!”
“Kia... I’m sorry-” Before he could finish, she rushed off looking around. “Kia!”
“Search! Rayna!” she scribbled the code on her arm as the small portal opened, but all she could see was a blur. “God Dammit! Why won’t this work?! Search! Rayna!” Still nothing. “Ah! Come on-”
“Kia!” Daiki shouted, grabbing her arm. “Calm down! She’s gone!”
“She can’t be gone! Not again!” she panted, trying to be calm. “This is the first time anyone has seen her in months and… and I’m failing her as her best friend! I’m suppose to be there for her!”
“It’s not your fault Kia.” he said comfortingly. “We’ll find her… at least we know she’s alive.” She was quiet, thinking to herself as Daiki sighed, “Kia… She’s alright. Isn’t that what matters?”
“... Yeah… I just have so many questions. Why hasn’t she contacted me at all then? If she’s apart of this, why didn’t she warn me about it?” she thought. “I just… I just don’t understand.”
“This isn’t an easy thing to understand, Kia. I don’t know everything either, but that’s why we need to stay focused. The sooner we deal with the Pipers, the sooner we can find Rayna.” he told her. She groaned, “Daiki… you’re the first person to see her in months. Can I trust you with trying to stay on her tail?”
“Anything for you Kia.” he said. “I’ll keep looking around here, but you have to keep a promise to me. I know you’ve been going into the anime world without me.”
“Yeah. I’m sorry about that… it just… happens.” she responded.
“It can’t be helped. But, the Browser team… they’re crucial to your succession as a Sight. Stick with them.”
“I will.”
“And as soon as the team is complete. Please let me know.” he asked. “They should know when it is.”
“Actually, we’re almost there!” she told him as he gave her a look. “We’re just looking for the last sight.”
“What?!” he said in disbelief. “Who are the other two sights?! When did you find them?! Why didn’t you-”
“Kia!” she suddenly heard in her head as she said, “I’ll explain later! That was Hakufu! I gotta go-”
“Hakufu? She’s one?!” he said as she nodded, “Yes, and she needs my help. I promise I’ll explain everything later, ok?!” Before he could respond, she said, “Teleport, Rena Takahashi!”
“Damn it, Kia…” he groaned as she had vanished from his view. He smiled though, staring up at the sky. “When did you start getting so strong, I feel like you don’t even need my help anymore…”

“So what’s the plan?” Hakufu said as Kia appeared in the Guardian’s strategic room. Everyone was gathered there as she thought, “This isn’t going to be easy. After infiltrating their lair twice now, they’re more likely on high alert.
“But you have all the Browsers now.” Kei stated. She nodded, “And we’ll need to utilize all of you.” They looked at the map in front of them, mapping out the Dark Forest as she thought about a plan. “I don’t think they’d keep them here.”
“Where else would they put them?” Rena wondered. “Their lair is already one of the hardest places to access."
"That's true, but as I said, it's obvious that we know their liar. After being defeated by us twice, I doubt they would be stupid enough to keep a sight in the same place." She began. "Take the kingdom for example. We can't keep meeting up here because the triad knows this is where we would be meeting. After today, we'll need a new hideout."
"Okay if they aren't at the triad's lair, then where are they?" Aoki asked impatiently. "The more time we stand here talking the more danger Hikaru is in."
"They'd want to put them in a place where they won't be able to escape and a place we won't be able to find. And as long as Yuto is out of energy, he can't use the code." Kia said analyzing the map. She smirked, "But once again, they underestimate the abilities of a sight."
"Not this time..." Hakufu said. "I tried the cod to locate Yuto and Hikaru. It was a blur."
"... That's only ever happened with Rayna." Kia thought to herself. "Let me try.... Search! Yuto Nakajima!" As the portal formed, all that could be seen was mist. She suddenly lit up,"Well, they underestimate me! It's not blurred, it's mist. Ronin must have enhanced Kyoko's ability to block our ability to see where they are. Yuya, if we enhanced your abilities, could you sense where Hikaru's ability is?"
"It's too vast." He shook his head. "Between the many worlds now linked, I'll only be able to sense an ability if it's within 200 feet of me." She pondered the thought as Rena said, "I can't sense him either. His mind is no where near by."
"I got it." Kia lit up. "If they we're here, Rena would've been able to locate their minds." She looked at the Seekers, "They have to be at Kyrsalin, the home of the Kirst."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa." Ryutaro stopped her. "That's suicide. Krysalin is filled with Kirst and during the day, Yukio."
"We've never even been there. It's been impossible to find." Kyoumi explained. She looked at Hakufu as she called, "Search. Kyrsalin." An image formed in the portal of a large forest, Kirst roaming around eating animals and Yukio throwing his sais at tree trunks.
"And once again, we are underestimated." Kia beamed. Keito stated, "So you found it, but without knowing your way around it, how are we gonna get in and save them?"
"Well, looks like we’re gonna have to make our own route." She said, soon pulling out a piece of paper. "Now here's the plan..."

"Mmmmrgh!" Yuto moaned in pain as the knife cut a long slit on the side of his chest. He panted in exhaustion, his wrists chained high above his head, his mouth gagged, and his legs chained to ground. Hikaru, chained exactly like him muffled, struggling to get out of his chains. "Mrgh!!"
"Haha, this is the best job yet!" Kyoko's smirked as Ryuichi chuckled, "It sure is. I'll carve my name into his skin next..." Yuto screamed again as the knife he was holding cut into him again, when Kyoko's whacked it away. "It's Ronin's turn, Ryuichi." She gave a large smirk as Robin stood in front of him and Yuto began to feel heavier. His arms became so sore he screamed. Pain filled his head and his breathing became harder.
"Impressive. Without even touching him, he's screaming like a baby." Ryuichi laughed. She explained. "It's his shadow that's in pain. It doesn't affect him physically, but he can still feel it."
"Can we torture the knight too?" Ryuichi eyes Hikaru eagerly. Kyoko's giggled, "I don't see why no-" Ronin moved in front of them, blocking them from Hikaru as he glared, "We have an order. We torture the sight to keep him from regaining his energy so he can't escape. We were not told to do the same to his companion."
"Come on, Ron." Ryuichi beamed. "Live a lil."
"We have failed enough." He said strongly. "Do you want to hear more from them?"
"I'm exhausted of getting told of." Kyoko sighed. "Why do we even bother with them?"
"Because they're powerful enough to help all of us get what we want." They heard as a man in an orange jumpsuit appeared before them. Kyoko's rolled her eyes, "oh great. What do you want?"
"I want to make sure you're doing your job. After all, you've been failing."
"As if you've done anything to help." Ryuichi glared. "We've been doing all the work while you've been sitting in your cage."
"At least I haven't pissed them off." He scoffed. He looked at Yuto who glared angrily at them. "You better keep it up. Rest will make him stronger."
"Urgh!" He groaned as a punch came to his stomach. The guy smirked, "Don't worry, Sight. We still need you, so we won't kill you... Yet."
"Get outta here, Akira. You have your job. We have ours." Kyoko told him as he sighed, "Fine, you want me gone. I'll go. But don't blame me when you screw up again." He headed as Kyoko said, "We are not gonna let him make us look like fools. Ronin, keep working on him. Ryuichi, you and I will be on guard duty.”
“What? Why can’t I have the fun job?” Ryuichi groaned.
“Because you’ll end up killing him.” she glared. “We can’t risk that.” Before he could argue, she said, “I don’t wanna hear it. It’s only a matter of time before they find out we have them. We need to be ready.”
“Come on, Kyoko. They’ll fall right into the trap at our lair and we’ll have won.” he scoffed as she rolled her eyes, “Do you think they’re that stupid. They have two sights with them, Ryuichi! They’ll find us eventually and when it happens, we need to be ready to get the sights.”
“And the rest of the browsers?” Ronin asked as Yuto released another muffled scream.
“Well, we have no use for them--” she stopped as a rumble occurred. “What did I tell you?! Come on!” They rushed out to see the cute little Kirst running around while Yukio stood by demolished wall.
“Is it the Sights?” Ryuichi asked as they approached and Yukio sighed, “No. The boss is here.. and he’s unpleasant at that moment…”
“Obviously….” Kyoko sighed. She turned to the sun beginning to set. “We should be safe for today. They wouldn’t dare take on this many Kirst in their own territory.”
“He said to remain on position until told otherwise. So remain at your position.” Yukio sighed. “As soon as they transform, then we can go.” Kyoko sighed, “Fine… Ryuichi, take the south side, I’ll head towards the north.” They separated as the Kirst continued to roam around, playfully. A small group of five entered the building as one said, “See, told ya it would work.”
“Kia, can you hold it? This must be taking up a lot of your energy.”
“Not if Hakufu and I are doing it together.” she answered. “Don’t worry about it Ryosuke. Now stick to the plan. Yuya?” One of the other Kirst looked around, “It’s faint, but I can sense Hikaru. But Ronin is with him. They’re down that way.”
“Okay.” Kia responded. “Rena, you know what to do?”
“Yes, yes. Let’s get this over with so I can get out of this slimy thing.” she groaned as they headed towards the basement. They heard a loud scream as Rena jumped, “Uhm… that doesn’t sound pleasant.”
“Was that Hikaru?” Ryosuke wondered as Kia shook her head, “That was Yuto. We have to hurry!” They soon hid in a corner of the room, watching as Ronin manipulated Yuto’s shadow. Kia said, “Hakufu, I need you to hold our forms for a minute. Can you do it?”
“I’ll do my best.” she answered. Kia then said, “Now.” Hakufu focused on the disguise code on her arm, while trying to conserve her energy as Kia said, “Teleport, Ronin to the Cryptic Forest!” He soon vanished as she said, “Good Hakufu.” She released it as they all soon returned to their normal forms.
“Rena, update the others and tell me what’s happening outside as soon as you hear.” Kia ordered.
“Hey, hey!” Kia said in an urgent whisper as she and Hakufu unchained Yuto, who fell to the ground in exhaustion. “Come on, Yuto. Stay with us.” Hakufu ungagged him as Yuya and Ryosuke helped Hikaru. He moaned, “I… urgh… didn’t need… your help…”
“Yeah, because you were doing so great on your own.” she gave him a look as Hakufu answered. “This isn’t the time, Kia.”
“Kia, it’s almost sundown. We don’t have much time-” she stopped. “Time’s up. They’re transforming.”
“Then let’s go. Tell Mai to teleport everyone out.” she said. Rena nodded as Ryosuke said, “This was… too easy…”
“Yes it was wasn’t it?” they heard as Yuya quickly pulled out his sword, facing the man hiding in the shadows. Kia whispered, “Hakufu, take Yuto, Hikaru, and Rena. We’ll follow.”
“Are you sure?” she questioned as she nodded.
“Go ahead and escape. Either way it’ll be futile. We’ll get what we want.” he said moving into the light. Kia stated, “Kota was right... He really does know everything that goes around that prison.”
“Heh, the one who might actually have chance against me. That place if filled with idiots, it's hard to come across people like me.” he scoffed. “However, I couldn’t have done it alone.”
“The psychiatrist, Akako Murakami.” Kia said as he smirked, “As expected from a Sight-”
“Teleport! Serenity Kingdom!” Hakufu shouted as she, Yuto, Hikaru, and Rena vanished.
“Rude. Interrupted me while I was speaking.” he scoffed as Ryosuke said, “Kia. He’s stalling. We need to go.”
“Too late.” he chuckled as a large Kirst barged into the room as Kia beamed, “Not for a sight. Barrier!” A large dome formed around them as she grabbed Yuya and Ryosuke, “Nice try, Akira. But you’ll have to do better than that next time. Teleport! Serenity Kingdom!” And then they were gone. Akira just smirked, “Indeed I will. But so will you.”

“We need to move.” Kia said as they regrouped in the strategy room. Hakufu, knocked out once again from overusing the code, was resting much like Yuto and Hikaru. Rena wondered, “Why?”
“I mentioned it before. They changed their location because they know we know where to find them. There is a high chance that they’re looking for a new place as we speak.” she stated. “And the longer we’re here, the more we’re putting your kingdom in danger.”
“But we can’t just abandon Serenity.” Kei stated.
“You aren’t. But this isn’t where we can continue meeting up.” she sighed. “Kota… You know Akira. What do you think he’d do?”
“...” he thought silently for a moment as he sighed, “He’ll know we’d want to move. After all, to use your code you’d have to say where we were going. If I were him, I’d head straight here as soon as possible.”
“Exactly. So we need to go now.” she said as Aoki glared, “That would be abandoning Serenity!” Keito added, “Whether we are here or not, they’re gonna come. We might as well evacuate everyone here as well.”
“That’ll take too much time.” Karina said. “Kia, is there anyway we can hide the entire kingdom?”
“Hiding is one thing....” she beamed. “It’ll be hard to do that alone… but to make it a constantly moving, we just might be able to. The Kingdom of Serenity is already in the clouds but it’s stationary. Do you guys know why?”
“The first ruler.” Kei said. “My ancestors combined their powers of the elements and created the kingdom in the sky. Unseen to anyone without abilities.”
“Yes, but why was it stationary?” she asked again. “It’s on a cloud for crying out loud. The clouds move around under the kingdom, but the kingdom itself doesn’t.” Silence went around as she said, “It was never actually said within your show, but I’ve had some really interesting theories with other fans. Because the first ruler excelled in his abilities of earth, it was because of him that it remains stationary. Kei, Rena. What happens when a ruler passes on?”
“A funeral ceremony obviously.” Rena stated.
“What about the body?”
“It’s tradition for the royal ancestors to be cremated and scattered onto their greatest accomplishment.” Kei explained. “My father and the Serenity Gates for example.”
“Yes. Exactly, I believe that its the first ruler, its his soul that is holding the Kingdom in place.” she explained as Rikia said, “That doesn’t help us with moving it.”
“It’s the source of how to move it.” Karina lit up. Kia nodded, “Kei, it’s your ancestor that had this ability, your blood. Therefore I’m gonna need your help.” He nodded, “What are we gonna do?”
“In order for the Kingdom to stay in place, it must be anchored to something below.” she stated. “Visible or not, there’s some kind of anchor holding the kingdom down. I’m gonna need you to sever the link.”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa.” Ryutaro stopped her. “How will you know that it will make us float? What if the kingdom comes crashing down?” They all looked at her as she answered. “These are all just theories. But think about it, if we cut the earth out of the picture, there is still air holding it up. But… if worse comes to worse, I’ll have to use my abilities to lower it slowly. Bright side, it will buy us time if they can’t find us in the clouds.”
“... It’s worth a shot.” Kei stated. Kia smiled, "Then let's do this. Uhm, one more thing though."
"What?"
"We do need to evacuate the people."
"What?!" The guardians pipped up.
"Look it's not ideal, but the Pipers aren't ones to underestimate. If they find us, people are gonna get hurt. I don't want to risk that." She stated. "I want to separate the castle from the rest of the Kingdom."
"Well who will take care of the people?" Ryosuke questioned as she answered. "Guardians are chosen by generation. You currently have guardians-in training correct?" They nodded as she said, "Looks like it's time to raise their ranks."
"But-" Aoki wanted to argue but Rena answered, "Were running out of time. They could be here soon."
"Yuri. I'm leaving you in charge of making sure that the Kingdom is constantly moving below ground. You will animate it." She stated as he lit up, "Awesome!"
"Just make sure that it will be linked to one of the new guardians so they can control it." He nodded as she said, “Guardians, if you could help him out with keeping the crowd calm. Aoki, you’re with Yuri. Seekers, patrol the castle. Keep an eye out." They nodded and split up.

"... I don't like this." Aoki said. She stayed with Yuri in the stables, waiting to see if the plan would pull through. Yuri questioned, "why?"
"She's risking the safety of Aluna and she won't even hear us out! There has to be another way to go about this."
"But the Prince trusts her." He pointed out.
"... Even so. I feel he's putting too much faith in her. Just because she's a sight." She sneered. "What's so great about them anyway? We could handle the Pipers ourselves."
"I'm still confused on all this? Why did the Pipers form anyways? I mean, those detectives mentioned something about a scroll right? Is it really that valuable?"
"I don't know. But if anyone does, the Prince must know." She sighed. "This is our kingdom. If they want to help us protect it, then fine but this plan is foolish."
"If you understood what we know, you would understand that what Kia is doing is in the best interest of your precious Kingdom." They heard as they saw Kota standing at the doorway.
"Well why don't you Enlighten us?" She gave him a look. He scoffed, "If I knew more, don't you think I'd tell you?"
"I don't think we know you on a well enough level to know." She said annoyed. He scoffed, "Valid point. But you do know someone who does. And there's a reason he hasn't told you anything."
"Hikaru hasn't been around. Therefore he couldn't tell us, but he will when he wakes up." She responded as he shook his head, "I might not have been with you all at the time, but I heard. He had the chance to return to you all, but he chose the sight."
"He was just doing his job. That doesn't mean he's gonna hide something, that could put the entire kingdom at stake, from us." She glared.
"Exactly. Doing his job. Assigned by a much higher power, higher than your prince and his kingdom." He stated. Yuri came out of his thoughts, "The Alvador."
"What?" Aoki questioned as Kota gave him a look, “How do you know about the Alvador?”
“I heard it from the Prince’s table.” he answered as Kota gave a confused look. Aoki answered, “That’s his ability. What did the table say?”
“Well, I’m not too sure who he was talking to because the table only saw him. But he was talking to someone and he mentioned the Alvador. Once he said that, he began to bow gently and give respect to whoever he was talking to.” he explained. “And whatever they were talking about seemed to worry the Prince. He began to speak very carefully about things so things started to sound confusing. I think the biggest outtake of it was, well the Alvador and something about not trusting someone.”
“What?” she wondered. “Not to trust who?” Kota seemed quiet as he thought. Yuri shrugged, “I’m not too sure. It was almost… as if he thought someone was listening so he tried to speak in code.”
“Well, someone was listening.” Kota pointed out as Aoki glared, “Are you implying that Yuri is the one not to trust?!"
"I can't say just yet, but seeing as he did hear about it, it makes him a suspect.” he stated, Aoki growled, but Yuri said, “It’s okay Aoki. If I’m a suspect, then whatever. I just gotta show that I’m trustworthy.”
“But-”
“Yeah, and you can start by not saying this to anyone.” he said strongly. “From what I know, there are only three browsers, beside your friend with the other sight, who the Alvador spoke to. Now, I know Kei is one of them. The other must be a seeker.”
“Why?” Aoki wondered. “What if it was me?”
“If you don’t know what’s going on, then its not.” he stated. “One from each group knows because those three are the ones the Alvador can trust.”
“And the one they can’t?” Yuri wondered. “Is that way everything is being so secretive?” Kota nodded, “Yeah, no one, but the three of us knows. And now you two. So you had better not spill it or we won’t find the traitor. Not even the Sights know about this.”
“Why not? Shouldn’t they be the ones to know?”
“No, because they’re the ones who have to bring us together. If they are constantly doubting us, that will never be accomplished.” he explained, they soon felt a shake as he stated, “Looks like the plan is in action. Yuri, you’re up.” He nodded ready to get to work.

“Come on Yuri…” Kia said as she and Kei floated above with the castle. Kei held his focus on it, making it stay in place as she soon saw the kingdom, now resting on the ground starting to move. She sighed in relief as soon, the guardians were flying back up. Ryosuke beamed, “The plan worked. The new guardians have been instituted and are doing their job.”
“Perfect. Now we need to get the castle moving. How are you doing with it Kei?”
“I’m alright…” he said. “It’s just gonna take some time getting use to the feeling.” She nodded, “Let’s all head back in then. It might be easier to control in there.” When they all regrouped in the strategy room, Kei had become accustomed to directing the kingdom with ease.
“Where shall we head towards?” he wondered as Kia said, “Just keep heading south until we figure out what our plan is."
"Which is?"
"The last sight." Karina  answered. "That's gonna be their last resort."
“What?” Kia wondered as she nodded, “They’ve lost far too many times. Once we have the last Sight, we’ll be complete. Harder to defeat. That’s the last thing they want to happen.”
“... What the hell do they want with the Sights?” Ryosuke thought. “Why can’t they go after this ‘scroll’ without them? It’d save us the-OW!” Tsubasa whacked his head, “Are you an idiot?! If that scroll is anything like we’ve heard, we’d be screwed if the Pipers, let alone Yukio got his hands on it!”
“We’ll what does it do?” Yuri wondered as Kyoumi stated, “The rumors are too vast. But there is one similarity between them all.  The scroll would be able to provide one with the most powerful abilities known in all the worlds.”
“Even beyond the Alvador?” Kia wondered. She shrugged unsure. “The Sight’s power?”
“We don’t know.” Ryutaro answered.
“.... How did you guys hear about the scroll?” Kota wondered.
“What?” Rikia gave him a look.
“It’s all rumors right? So no one has even seen it. How do you know it actually exists?” he pointed out as silence filled the room. Keito soon spoke up, “You have a point that we haven’t seen it ourselves. But we know it exist.”
“How?” he questioned again, unconvinced.
“...” he seemed hesitant to say anything as Kia thought, “Your brother.” Keito seemed to finch as Kyoumi wondered, “Brother? Keito doesn’t have-”
“Suzaku Okamoto.” she said as Keito glared at her. “He’s mentioned very briefly, but it’s implied that everything that you know and know how to do is because of him. Did he tell you about the scroll too?”
“…” he thought quietly as Rikia told him, “Keito, the longer we are left in the dark, then the Pipers will get to the scroll before us.” He finally gave in, “Yeah… I heard it from my brother.”
“When did you have a brother?” Kyoumi wondered. “Why haven’t I ever heard of him?” He answered, “It was long before I took you in Kyoumi. When the Kirst came to our world 5 years ago. My parent’s betrayed our village, handing all of us over the Kirst and my brother and I, we led the rebellion.”
“How did he know about the scroll?” Tsubasa asked. “They make a very strong point, Keito. We’ve been following you for the last year in search for this scroll, but we don’t even know if it does really exist.”
“It does exist. It has to.” he said strongly. “After three years of fighting, we were dwindling down. My brother was out in the field when I received a letter from him. It was about the scroll. He said he had met someone who needed to find it and if they did, he could stop the Kirst.”
“But you never saw it.” Karina pointed out as he shook his head. “But he sent me proof. He returned once with the man who spoke of the scroll. And I saw his abilities. It’s no doubt he was a Sight.”
“Our last member?!” Kia wondered. “So you know who he is?!”
“I don’t know if he’s your last member. I never heard from him after that. I thought he died with my brother.” he stated. “He was… a bit too open with his abilities, showing them off and having fun with it. My brother was often scolding him about not getting caught using them. I asked Suzaku to tell me where the scroll was, but he was paranoid about revealing it before they got to it. He was careful even in the letters he sent…”
“… He didn’t even tell the Sight where it was.” he sighed. “But he did mention who told him about the scroll… the Alvador told him about it and that the Sights are the only way to obtain it.”
“Okay, I keep hearing about this Alvador, but all I know about him-her, uhm whatever the Alvador is, is that he or she is allpower. Like the God of the world. But I always thought the Alvador was just a myth.”
“I was told that it was the Alvador who created the Sight’s abilities.” Kia answered. “And keeps balance between all the worlds. The Sights were chosen in order to bring peace when things go wrong.”
“Where did you hear this from?” Kei asked as she responded, “My mentor, Daiki. He’s kinda like Hikaru to Yuto. He’s been in contacted with the Alvador before.”
“Okay, we’re clear on the Alvador. Continue Keito.” Rikia stated. He shrugged, “That’s all I know. After they left, things were okay at first. But after three months, I stopped hearing from him. And it was strange because he always sends me one, at least once a month in order to keep me updated. I went off in search of him, looking in the last place they were, but there was nothing, but debris. And… this.” He held up his brass knuckles as he said, “Suzaku never goes anywhere without them.”
“The Kirst got to them…” Kyoumi said sadly to her brother. He nodded. “I looked all over that area and couldn’t find the scroll. But at that moment, I knew. I had to find it and avenge my brother.”
“If the Alvador spoke of it, then it must be true.” Ryosuke pointed out as Kota shook his head, “There’s no proof that he even actually had a conversation with the Alvador. Just the fact that he’s with a Sight isn’t strong enough.”
“Are you implying my brother was lying?” Keito growled, grabbing Kota’s shirt angrily. Karina separated them, “Hey! Knock it off. Now is not the time to be fighting!”
“Let me true something….” Kia said approaching Keito. She held out her hand as he gave her a look, “The brass knuckles.”
“What? why?”
“You said he carried it everywhere. Maybe it can shed some light on this.” she explained as he hesitated, but soon, handed it over. She put it on the table as she scribbled a code on paper. “Clairvoyance!” She focused on the brass knuckles as she then said, “Portal.” A small smoky portal appeared over it. as she lit up, “It’s working. Show me when Suzaku spoke with the Alvador!” It took a moment as it soon showed an almost Keito look-a-like knocked out in a destroyed town.
“That’s Suzaku…” Keito said as a bright light came into the scene, the only thing they could still see was Suzaku.

~*~*~*~

“Wha…” he said, slowly coming to. “W-Who’s there…”
“It is I, The Alvador.” a strong voice, mixed both feminine and masculine, making it hard to know. “I protected you from the Kirst.”
“Why?” he wondered.
“Because I need your help.” The Alvador responded. “You must guide the Sights in order to restore balance to the worlds.”
“What?” he gave a confused look. “What worlds? What are Sights? Could they help us defeat the Kirst?”
“You must find them. And find the scroll.” The Alvador said more urgently. “They can help. Don’t let the scroll fall into the wrong hands! They are always watching!” The light faded, Suzaku returning to where he was left as the portal faded.

~*~*~*~
“… could any of that been fake?” Yuya wondered as Kia said, “I don’t think so. After all, I did tell it to show me what happened between Suzaku and the Alvador. It had to be true.”
“… Now we just need to find where it is.” Rena stated. “Which seems to be the hardest thing to find if his brother was looking for months.”
“It’s a lot harder than that.” they heard as they turned to the door to see Hikaru and Hakufu. Aoki lit up, “Hikaru! You’re okay!”
“Of course. They didn’t do too much damage to me.” he smiled. “Unlike Yuto. He’s sleeping like a baby right now.”
“Maybe you can fill us in.” Aoki thought back to what Kota had said to her and Yuri. “What do you know about the scroll?” He shrugged, “Not much to tell you the truth. All I heard from the Alvador was that it was the Piper’s main objective, therefore we can’t let them get their hands on it.”
“That’s it?” Hakufu questioned. “You’re the only one out of all of us who’s ever come in contact with the Alvador and that’s all you’re told?” Aoki stared at Kota, who seemed to be avoiding her gaze, focused entirely on Hikaru.
“Well, that and the fact that the Sights are the only one’s who know how to get to it.” he stated. “But Yuto seemed to be having trouble with it.”
“It’s not like being a Sight had a guidebook to it.” Kia sighed. He answered, “Maybe you’ll know when we find the place it’s located at?” Hakufu shrugged, “Guess there’s only one way to find out. We better start looking.”
“And to do that we need to complete the team.” Karina said again. “The last Sight. It all revolves around you four.”
“But how are we gonna find whoever it is?” Yuri wondered. “It already took a while to find these three.”
“Technically, we found you.” Kia corrected. “Which means, it’ll only be a matter of time before the last Sight finds us-“ Everyone looked at her as Hakufu called, “Kia?” She didn’t respond as she then shook her a bit, getting her out of her daze, “Kia, are you okay?”
“I think I know who the last Sight is.” she said. “It all makes sense now.”
“What are you talking about?” Hikaru wondered. “If you knew who it was, why didn’t you say anything earlier?” She answered, “Because she’s been missing long before I even knew what all of this was. It’s more likely the whole reason why she went missing in the first place.”

“The last sight… has to be her…” she thought. “Rayna.”
