Anime Cipher Chapter 1: A Typical Day For A Fanatic

Rating: M (due to language only)
Summary: 4 different stories all merge into one great adventure. Kiara Davis, a high school senior has no love greater than anime. But how will she react when some of her favorite anime characters are actually appearing in front of her own eyes? And not only that, but she gets pulled into their world as well! Could it be because of her own private code she created out of pure boredom? What is all this leading to?

[ “You girls keep going!” the brown haired leader shouted at the two. “Ryuu and I will hold them off!” They nodded and quickly speed off as he ordered, “Ryuu, Yukio is mine. You handle the Kirst, got it?” Ryuu, also known as Ryutaro, sighed sarcastically, “So I get the millions of invulnerable aliens and you get that one guy? That seems fair...”

“Ryuu, be serious right now!” he shouted staying on guard, trying to see where the enemy would strike.

“Alright... calm down Keito. I can handle them.” he said. “I won't be able to hold all of them forever though.” He nodded, “I know... they're practically intangible. We just need to distract them... and finish off Yukio.”

“Distraction is my middle name.” Ryuu smiled.

“Then do just that--”Keito stopped as they both jumped out of the way, dodging an incoming attack.

“Well, seems I always seem to underestimate you Keito...”the man sighed as Keito striked with his brass knuckles, but the guy easily blocked with one of his sais. He smirked, “Awww, I can't talk to you without getting attacked first?”

“Shut up and fight, Yukio!” he glared. “We both know that's what you want.”He smirked, “You seem to know me well...” He sped towards him and striked as Keito ducked to avoid getting stabbed. He went for a punch, Yukio easily moved. As they fought, Ryuu faced a small group of small, slim-looking creatures. Their fangs looking like they could pierce right through solid rock.

“Alright... let the fun begin...”he smirked as he took out his Kusarigama. The Kirst charged towards him as he did the same, he then swung his Kusarigama around as it knocked the Kirst way from him, injuring them, but not doing much damage. “Is that all you lame aliens can do?! Come on!”He continued to taunt them as they grew angrier, their slimy like bodies began to fuse together, forming a larger version of them.

“Now this... is a challenge.” Ryuu said looking up at the giant alien. He put his guard up as it went to strike. He jumped back, dodging, trying to think of what to do next and not get killed.

“*yawn* Seriously, Keito? Are you even trying? I can beat you in my sleep...” Yukio yawned as he glared, “Then let's put that to the test!” He managed to get a hit on him, knocking him a couple meters away.

“Geez.... lighten up a bit...” he groaned, spitting out some blood to the side. He smirked, “Don't you think you're taking this a little to seriously?” Keito growled, “Shut the hell up already! Enough talk and more action!” He charged at him as Yukio ducked, then grabbed Keito's arm knocking him to the ground.

“Keito!” Ryuu shouted in shock as he turned to look at his teammate in trouble. He rushed over, but it was too late. Ryuu was way too far to reach him. “No!” Yukio went to strike, bring down his Sai aimed right at Keito's heart. ]

“NOOOOO!!!” an adolescent girl screamed as she shot up from her seat. Her silk black hair bounced as she moved up and her chocolate brown eyes grew wide staring at the end of the book in her hand, “Why?! Why does it end on such a suspenseful scene?!!!”

“Kiara!” she heard as her eyes moved towards the adult at the front of the room, who was giving her an irritated look, “Have you been paying attention?!”She looked behind him where a physics equation was written. Her classmates stared at her and snickered as she gave a small smile, “Uh... yes?”

“Then why don't you solve this problem for us?” he raised an eyebrow as she looked at it again and answered, “The velocity would be 32.8 m/s and the force would be 62.7N.” Her teacher sighed, “You got lucky. Don't read in my class again.”

“Yes, sir.” she stated sitting down again.

“Smooth...” her friend next to her giggled. A cute smile was on her face as she pulled her short, light brown hair behind her ear, revealing her light blue eyes. Kia smiled, “Haha, I know right?”

“You're so lucky you're good in math, Kia.” she stated as Kiara nodded, “Yea, otherwise I would've been so dead.”

“Rayna! Kiara!”their teacher called as they turned back to the lesson.

~

“So what were you yelling about in class?” Rayna wondered as they headed outta the class for lunch. She pulled out her manga, “Ta-da~! The latest volume and it ended on such a good spot! I can't wait for the next one!”

“Geez, you're such an anime freak.”she laughed as Kia answered, “There's nothing wrong with that... Have you read this one?” Rayna shook her head, “Nope. I'm not that into anime and manga. You know that...”

“But you've really got to read this one! It's sooo awesome!” she pleaded excitedly. “I have every volume! I'll lend it to you if you want!” She sighed, “Knowing you, you'll probably force me into reading it anyways... what's it about?”

“Alright~!” she smiled as they took a seat on their school field, under the shade of a tree. She explained, “This is like my favorite manga right now so I really hope you like as much as I have. 'Scroll Quest' is just basically about these travelers trying to save their homes from the rein of evil monster called the Kirst. They're trying to find this legendary scroll that will help them stop the Kirst, since everything they do, doesn't seem to be effective.”

“Wow...” Rayna said. “Can you repeat that but slower...” Kia just giggled, “Oh! Better idea! Let's watch it instead! It sooo much more cooler seeing it on screen! We can watch it after school!”

“Kia! We need to work on our project!” Rayna scolded her. “No distractions!”

“Fine...”she sighed. “But come on. A new semester starts in two weeks. Everything right now is easy.”

“We have finals next week!!!” she answered as Kia thought, “Oh yea...”She sighed, “School is a killer...”

“Yea. Anyways, I'll be at your place after I get some stuff done at my place so we can finish.” Rayna said. Kia nodded, “Man... I don't wanna do anymore school work! Isn't there some kind of job where I can get paid for watching anime?”

“Haha, what kind of fantasy world are you living in, Kia?” she laughed at her best friend. Kia stuck her tongue out, “There's nothing wrong with having an active imagination!” The two continued to giggle together until lunch ended.
