Summary: 4 different stories all merge into one great adventure. Kiara Davis, a high school senior has no love greater than anime. But how will she react when some of her favorite anime characters are actually appearing in front of her own eyes? And not only that, but she gets pulled into their world as well! Could it be because of her own private code she created out of pure boredom? What is all this leading to?
“Kia, are you sure you're okay?” she heard Daiki's voice through her phone, a few days later. She replied, “Yea, why do you ask?” He sighed, “Kia... you've ditched school all week. You aren't sick... so why aren't you here?”“Actually... I think I might be... I'm seriously going crazy...” she stated as she sat in her room. She then thought, “And actually... this is the perfect chance to look for Ray...”
“Kia, I seriously think you're too worried. I bet she moved and just didn't have the chance to tell you.”
“She would've called. She knows my number.” she answered back. He then added, “Well either way, its not a good reason to miss school.”
“I know, but its only one day.” she stated as he scoffed, “Ha! What are you talking about? It's already Wednesday! You've been gone for three days now!”
“Oh. I thought the weekend seemed longer than usual.” she laughed. “Well, I'll be there tomorrow ok?”
“Alright.” he sighed. “I gotta go. Fourth period's starting soon.”
“Have fun.” she teased as she hung up. She sighed as she headed out of her house, in thought. Truthfully, since the 'Aluna' incident at school, she's been scared to death. Now she was seeing them everywhere. She saw them on the way home, as she did her homework, even when she was having dinner with her mom. She didn't know what to do anymore.
“.... its been three months now... Ray where are you?” Kia sighed standing below her treehouse. The last time the two had been together, they were in the tree house. The only thing she had found during her search for her... was the note. 'Anime is real.' But what does a stupid prank have anything to do with Rayna's disappearance?
“You look conflicted...” she heard as someone interrupted her thoughts. She turned and stared surprised at the blonde knight standing before her. She blinked a couple times trying to figure out what was going on as she lit up, “Oh! Now I get it! A cosplayer! That's such an amazing Hikaru costume! It must have taken hours to make!”
“Um... not really...” he sighed with a little laugh.
“You must be a big Aluna fan too.” she smiled. “Is Hikaru your favorite character? I really like Mai's character, but I love Aoki and Kei's power the best.”
“Haha, well those are pretty awesome. But I like mine the best.”he smiled as she thought, “I guess sound wave are pretty awesome... but I dunno, it's not something I'd want to use myself. You must be pretty bummed since Hikaru has been missing from the series lately... I was so excited to see some action with him. He always made the battles hilarious... Wow~ Is that sword real?!” She pointed at his sword as he answered, “Of course it is. Why would I carry around a toy sword?”
“Because weapons are dangerous-- wait. Why are you cosplaying? There isn't any conventions anytime soon. I should know I'm checking for the next one and the next one isn't for another six months.” she stated suspiciously.
“Maybe because I'm not cosplaying--” he stopped as he quickly knocked her down, dodging a sai that was tossed towards her.
“AH!!! not again!” she groaned as she quickly got up. Hikaru told her, “Run. I'll hold them off.”
“Don't need to tell me twice!” she said running off as fast as she could, there was just one problem. She had no idea where she was running. She was no longer standing by her tree house but running trough an empty field. There didn't seem to be anything nearby, however she did see a town a long distance away and decided to head towards it. Then someone suddenly appeared in front of her she quickly stopped, but ended bumping into him, knocking him down.
“Ow! Watch where you're going!!” he shouted at her as she then heard, “Keito, calm down...” She turned as she stared surprised to see Kyoumi. She looked down and quickly got up as Keito stood up groaning, “Geez... its what I deserve for not being on my guard. Riki did you see where he went?”
“Lost him... sorry.” she said apologetically as she looked around. Kyoumi then turned to Kia, “What village are you from? Are you a rebel?”
“...I-- wait... I just talked to Hikaru. Now I'm talking to Kyoumi... but they're in two different animes?!” Kia groaned talking to herself. “Ugh great... now I'm mixing up my animes... they're talking to me... can I get any crazier?”
“Move it!” Kyoumi said as they all moved and Kia jumped as Hikaru hit Yukio down with his sword.
“And I'm about to die by one of my favorite anime character's blade... great...” she groaned sarcastically. Riki then grabbed Kia and moved to avoid another attack from Yukio. She told her, “Hey. Get your head in the game or you'll lose your head.”
“Look I don't even want to be here right now! All I wanted was to watch you guys battle! I didn't want to be in the battle--” she ducked to avoid Hikaru's blade as he apologized, “Sorry about that...”
“How do I get out of here?!” Kia screamed, scared out of her mind. She began running off, trying to get as far away as possible. As Keito took on Yukio, Hikaru saw her and called, “Wait! Hold on!” He began to run after her as she suddenly stopped. Her eyes stared wide at the thousands of little, slimy green aliens coming towards them.
“Oh, shit...” she said worried. She began running back towards the seekers. “Guys! The Kirst are coming!!!”
“What?!” Tsubasa said shocked. “They caught up already?!” Kia nodded and pointed in the direction of the Kirst as they soon came into view. Keito groaned, “Shit. We've gotta move--” He was knocked down as a cut appeared on his face. Yukio smirked, “Focus on your opponent, Keito...”
“Urgh... Ryutaro, get moving! I'll catch up!” he ordered as he charged at Yukio.
“But Keito--” Kyoumi tried to argue, but he said, “Just go!”
“I'll back him up.” Hikaru stated. “Hey, take her with you guys.” He looked towards Kia as Riki sighed, “Alright, let's go.” They all began running off as Kia tried to follow them as fast as she could. But they were moving way too fast for her.
“Wait... hold on--” she said when suddenly something hit her.
“OUCH!” she groaned grasping her head as fell to the ground. “Ow... what hit me--”
“What are you doing just standing here?” Daiki laughed at her. She looked around to see she was in front of her treehouse again. Daiki was standing behind her, holding a book in his hand, probably the one he hit her with.
“Thank god...” she sighed in relief. “I'm back...”
“Back from where?” he wondered.
“Nothing... you're gonna think im crazier.” she stated. “Anyways what are you doing here?”
“Dropping off the assignments you're missing.” he said handing her the assignments.
“Thanks...” she said getting up. She took the work and said, “So... are you gonna help me with these?”
“How did I know you would ask?” he smiled and nodded, “Shall we head up to your treehouse?” She nodded, “Sure.”

Kia stared into her classroom to see a girl sitting in her seat, staring out the window. She stared suspiciously at the girl as she peeked at her from the door. She wondered, “Man... could she be another anime character? Why do I keep hallucinating about them... wait, but she doesn't look animated... then who could she be--”
“What are you doing?”she heard as she jumped, “Ah! Daiki! Don't sneak up on me like that!” She gave him a soft push as he laughed, “Sorry... but seriously what are you doing? You look like some creepy stalker...”
“Nothing, ok? You would probably just call me crazy.”
“For the last time... you're already crazy...”he stated as she pouted, “Gee thanks... but I'm so confused on why I'm seeing anime people wherever I go....”
“You're getting too much anime lately?” he thought as she replied, “No! I haven't watched or read anything anime for the past week! I'm dying of boredom! Do you know how hard it is for a fanatic like me to do that?!”
“Alright, alright, calm down...” he told her as she sighed. “I keep seeing random things... like now there's some random girl who's sitting in my spot...”
“Oh. I forgot to tell you. That's Hakufu Sonsaku. Since you weren't here for the past few days and we don't have any extra seats, she was sitting on yours.” he said.
“Oh... so she's new here?”
“To our class, yeah. But she's been going to this school since the year started. I think she's from Australia.” he stated. “She transferred out of that lame history class down the hall. Anyways...I'll see if any of the other teachers have an extra desk.” He took off as she entered class and approached her.
“Hi. I'm Kiara. Kia for short.” she introduced with a smile. “I heard you were new to our class... so I wanted to greet you.”Hakufu looked at her and gave her a little wave and then turned back to the window besides her.
“Um.. so you're from Australia? That cool. What made you want to come all the way here?” she wondered, sitting down next to her. Hakufu didn't respond as Kia thought, “So how are you liking it here?”
“Look...” Hakufu finally said turning to her. “Can you just leave me alone?”She looked away again as Kia answered softly, “Oh... sorry.” She moved away as Daiki came in with another desk. Kia helped in out as she said, “Hakufu... isn't very sociable is she?”
“Nope... Actually I don't think I've ever heard her talk.” he stated. “I wonder why... did you try to talk to her?”
“Yea... she kinda sat there... and I guess I annoyed her. She told me to leave her alone.” she sighed, taking the seat next to him. “Do you think I'm annoying?”
“Only on occasions.” he said bluntly as she laughed, giving him a little push, “Geez, thanks a lot.”
“You know i'm just kidding.” he beamed. “Well, let's have her hang out with us today after school. I'm sure she'll open up to us. Hopefully.”Kia nodded happily, “Yea, that sounds like a good idea. Let's go ask her!”
“Ah, let's do that later...” he said stopping her. “If she wants to be alone right now, let's leave her to herself. We can ask her at lunch.”
“Hmm, I guess...”she stated. “I wonder what she likes to do?”
“Let's just talk a walk around town, maybe she'll talk about something...”he thought.
“Alright. I guess that will work.”she answered. Soon, as school ended, Daiki and Kia dragged Hakufu all around town. They hung out in the park, browsed around the mall, even played around the arcade. Of course, Hakufu never said a word. This continued even through the weekend.
“Hakufu~!” Kia called that monday morning. She smiled brightly, “We're going out again today? You coming?”She didn't answer as Kia shrugged, “Well, you didn't say no... so we're gonna study at my house for our test on Thursday too after we play some games at the arcade ok?” She remained quiet as Kia sighed, “Okay. So I'm counting you in.” Kia walked off towards her seat as Hakufu sighed at her.
~
“Um... Russia, Germany, and France?” Kia wondered as Daiki shook his head, “Nope. It's Germany, Italy, and Japan.” Kia sighed, “Man... I suck at history.”
“Don't worry. I'm sure you'll get it... wow.” Daiki looked over at the practice test Hakufu was studying. She had received 100% on it. “Wow, Hakufu. You're really good at history!” Kia took a look and pleaded, “Hakufu! Please help me study!!!”
“...” Hakufu just continued to do her work as Daiki sighed, “Well, it's getting late. I'm gonna get going... See you both tomorrow.”
“Bye.” Kia said as Hakufu waved. After studying of a couple more minutes, Kia stood up, “Alright. I give up. Let's do something else... all this history is putting me to sleep.” She closed her books and turned to Hakufu, “Let's go outside.”Hakufu sighed and followed after Kia.
“... you have a treehouse?” Hakufu said looking up at it as Kia began climbing to it. She smiled, “Yea... so I'm guess you like tree houses?”
“... Being in trees relaxes me... especially in calm nights like tonight.” she said as she climbed up. They two laid on the tree house as Kia said, “I know what you mean. I used to be up here all the time. It was my sanctuary... I would never let anyone up here with me.”
“This is the place I went to whenever I was sad or angry, or I just felt alone...” she explained as Hakufu just laid there quietly listening. “I was always off in my own world, sure I was friendly to everyone, but I never actually connected with anyone... so I often felt alone. But then I met Rayna. I stood up for her when she was getting bullied, but that was just because that guy was a jerk. I didn't think that when I helped her, I'd end up changing for the better... Because of her, I was able to open up my own little world to others. I can talk to her now whenever I had a problem... I actually had friends to comfort me, rather than just a place where I talked to myself.” She sat up starring at the treehouse and smiled, “But whenever we did talk.. it was always here. She's the first person I ever let enter my sanctuary. And soon, Daiki came along too. He's not like how Rayna was, but he's definitely a great friend to have.”
Kia then looked to see Hakufu just staring up at the starry night sky as she then said, “And I'm opening up even more. Now you're here... You don't talk much, but I dunno. It's fun being with you and Daiki. And lately... things have been returning to normal for me... I haven't had my crazy hallucinations lately... which is really great. And even though Rayna isn't here... things feel really calm again.”
“... You know...” Hakufu finally said. “You talk a lot...”
“Hehe, I know...” she laughed a bit. “Thanks for listening though... I'll shut up now.” They just laid in silence thinking when soon, Hakufu sat up and said, “I should get going. My parents will get upset if I get home late.”
“Alright. I'll see you tomorrow then.” Kia said as they both headed down. As she waved Hakufu off, she stopped and turned to Kia, “Hey... you're a pretty good friend too.”A smile appeared on Kia's face as Hakufu headed off. She turned to head into her house when she stopped. A scared expression grew on her face as she stared at the large, sharp blade aimed right at her throat.
“What are you doing here?” she heard a harsh voice say. She slowly looked away from the blade as she saw the person holding it. She groaned in disbelief, “Oh, no... not now...”He glared, “Answer the question... or else...”She tried to move away, but she was frozen in fear. Literally. She couldn't move as she realized the guy with him. His shadow was overtaking hers.
“... The twins... Ryuichi and Ronin.” she thought in her head.
“I'm losing patiences... you've got 3 seconds to answer or die.” Ryuichi said moving closer towards her. Just as she was about to say she lived there, she noticed, once again she was no longer at home. She was in a dark forest, the only light was the moon above them. She stuttered, “I-I-I dunno alright? I'm lost...”
“... she's of no use...” Ronin quietly said as Ryuichi smirked, “Then I guess we can get rid of her.” He went to strike, aiming his blade right for her neck as she shut her eyes tight. She was shivering, scared to death, but there was no other way out. She prepared herself for the worst...
