Sidenote: Nakajima Kento is also in this fanfic and Shida Mirai is Aya's friend Shizuka. ^^ Please comment and tell me how this is... That way I know if I should post the next part ^^ (parts in blue are her thoughts)

This was it. The moment. The feeling within me, caused my heart to beat faster and faster as I inched closer. Then I stopped. I was frozen. I couldn't move at all. I stared off. Just a few more steps... but I couldn't get there. He walked off with his friends as the bell rang. The moment was gone, the opportunity lost. I hung my head with a sigh and thought, “Damn it... not again...”

“Geez, late again?” she heard as she quickly ran into class. Lucky for her, her teacher was running late. Her best friend, Shizuku smiled, “Let me guess... you got cold feet again?” She sighed with a nod, “I was sooooo close too! But then I just froze.”
“Come on, Aya.” she groaned. “Is he even worth it? He's just sooo... plain.”
“He is not plain!” she defended. “He's my exact guy type! Way better than plain!” She rolled her eyes, “Okay if he's your perfect guy, then your type is plain! You are so bizarre, you know?” She pouted, “What? Just because I'm one of the very few girls who isn't head over heels for celebrities?”
“One of the girls?! You're the only girl!” she told her whacking her head. “Seriously, there has to be one hunky movie star you'd like but no! Not one! And why? Because you don't know what kind of guy they're like.”
“Yea! Why would you date a guy you don't know?!” she asked.
“It's the mysterious part of him! Come on! You're the hopeless romantic here!”
“... I could imagine it, but not for me. I'd like to know the guy. Personality comes before looks in my book and that's why my ideal guy is Kento.” she stated with a smile. Shizuku groaned, “Aya, Aya, Aya. Seriously, he's not worth the time-”
“You don't even know him, Shizu so shush.” she interrupted. “To me, he's worth it--”
“Ooooo, who's worth it?” she heard. “Talking about a boyfriend Aya? How could you not tell your best friend?”
“Ha! If you didn't know, I'm her best friend.” Shizu laughed at the boy as he smiled, “Really? I don't see you walking her home everyday...”
“Home? Or to the corner of her house?” Shizu raised an eyebrow. Aya sighed, “Come on you two. Geez, why can't I have best friends who actually like each other.”
“Ugh, who'd like a girl like that brat?” he pointed at her.
“No one in their right mind would be interested in a guy like you, Nakajima!” she responded offended. Aya's mouth dropped as she whacked her arm. She grasped it, “Ow! Aya!”
“Kento, Shizu, apologize right now! What both of you said wasn't nice at all!” she scolded.
“You aren't the boss--”
“NOW!”
“... sorry...” they said together. She smiled, “That's better-”
“Sorry I'm late class.” their sensei said as he entered the class. “Now let's get started.”

Hey there. I'm Natsume Ayame, but all my friends call me Aya. I'm in my 3rd year of High school right now and studying my hardest, but it never seems to be enough. I got a few A's but mostly B's in my classes. So you had the pleasure of meeting my two best friends. Kuromiya Shizuku has been my best friend since middle school. Being girls we always hung out whether it was shopping or doing makeovers at her place. She, being a girl as well, was who I confide in. She knew practically everything about me. Practically. Then there's Nakajima Kento. We met freshman year at orientation. He made me laugh during lunch when he drank his soda way too fast it came outta his nose. (Yes, I know it sounds gross, but you should've seen his face! It was hilarious!) If you didn't get the little hints earlier, he was the one I was trying to approach earlier. Yes, I do have a crush on him. He does in fact meet my requirements of my perfect guy:
1. Smart- Kento place in the top five in our class. He's such a genius!
2. Strongish- He's not like a built muscle man with abs but that's ok. He's strong enough to carry both me and Shizu on his back and in his arms (heavenly by the way! Loved that day!) That's strong enough to me.
3. My age- he is indeed my age (thus in my class) I mean I'm okay with older guys, but my limit is 2 years older and younger guys... no thanks. I don't wanna be known as a pedophile.
4. straightforward- hell yea. This is so Kento. No one gets more straightforward than him. As you heard his true opinion of Shizu earlier. Sure at times straightforwardness sucks, but its much better than a guy who doesn't speak his mind at all.
5. Funny- I'd fall head over heels for a guy with a good humor. Kento always puts a smile on my face... even though I wear a smile almost all the time. He always knows how to make me laugh.
6. Listener/ a bit talkative- He actually listens to me. Sure he's the talker most of the time and I'm okay with that, but when I do have something to say, he'll listen to me. And not the 'uh-huh', 'yea...', 'oh, really?' fake listening, he actually responds to what I have to say.
7. Romantic- I know some guys may think this is lame, but he doesn't need to be romantic all the time... once in a while its nice. Kento has had crushes (no one at our school.. it was back in middle school so I still have a chance! Yes~!) and they way he confessed to them (he told me) wasn't all that romantic (just straightforward... being Kento, that's kinda expected) but this is just a lil extra I'd like in a guy... its okay if he's not.
And also as you noticed, my two best friends don't get along at all. So I'm pretty much the mom separating her two children who are always fighting over her. They act like immature pest at times, but hey. No one's perfect right?

“Ok, I seriously need to teach which boys are worth to like and which aren't!” Shizu said as she stormed off to lunch with Aya. They took a seat outside under a tree as she ferociously ate her food, “That jerk! Who the hell does he think he is?!”
“Geez, calm down, Shizu.” Aya told her as they heard loud squeals. Shizu lit up and said, “Now there's a guy to fall in love with!” A group of good-looking guys walked off as a group of girls followed after them. That group of boys happened to be the hottest guy in their grade, so of course all the girls were into them. Not to mention they were in a famous band. Aya sighed, “Seriously, they don't hang out with any girls. How do you know they're worth it? Because of their looks?”
“Duh?! They're sooooo hawt! Especially Yamada-kun! Ahhh, just look at his perfection! Sooo amazing!” she squealed happily.
“... wow...” she said a bit worried about her friend. “Maybe we should go inside. Before you die from overseeing hotness...”
“No. No, I'm alright. I'll survive... Let me enjoy this view.” she said still staring off as Aya ate more of her bento.

Those four guys are seriously what all the girls in my grade are really into. I seriously don't see what's so great about them. Wohoo, they're stars! They're famous! They're rich! So what if they are? I'm sure while these girls are fantasizing about stars they probably can't see, there's a really great guy standing right behind them, just waiting to be noticed. I know Shizu said that I was the hopeless romantic and I am. Sure everything I just said probably conflicts with that but hey. Even hopeless romantics have to have their own opinions on love. So first off the youngest one, Chinen Yuri. Super adorable, at times super hot. He's very athletic/ acrobatic and according to the media he's the most spoiled in the agency. I could really imagine that. He's really adorable I kinda wish he was my younger brother. But the again. They're all seniors. A year older than me. Then there's the oldest Okamoto Keito. I'll admit, he's a little attractive (of course I won't say this out loud or Shizu will flip and try to hook us up) From what I hear, he left Japan and was in England for a few years. His accents pretty hot by the way. The second eldest Yamada Ryosuke, is probably the most popular the four boys. He's pretty social and is a pretty good soccer player. (Seriously if you've seen him in action, you'd think he'd be a pro soccer player by now) He's got an amazing voice and not to mention hot dance moves. Finally the last one is Nakajima Yuto. (Yes, he's got the same surname as Kento, but they aren't related. Not at all) He's freakishly tall and freakishly skinny. He's freaking amazing on the drums and has the cutest smile (well not as cute as Kento, but close enough) He's pretty silly I guess, but he's a flirt too from what I see. But of course, I don't pay any attention to those guys. Besides, they're seniors. They'll be gone next year so what's the point of wanting to date them. (Although the idea of a long distance relationship sounds pretty romantic, I seriously don't think it'll last with celebrities)

“Hey~! Aya, wait up!” she heard as she passed the school gates after school. Kento caught up, placing his hands on his knees to catch his breath. “Geez, you leave so fast...” She smiled, “Sorry, I really need to get home.”
“Well let me walk you.” he smiled in return. “Seriously, is this something new to you?” She laughed a bit, “Nah.. sorry. Well, hurry up or I'll be late.” He nodded as they began walking, “So, where's the spoiled brat?” She rolled her eyes, “Shizu is at Drama right now... could you please pretend to be nice to her, at least around me?”
“I will when she's nice to me.” he stated with a pout. She sighed, “You know how stubborn she is...”
“Well, I guess we're never gonna be nice to each other.” he said. “... so... how's your studies going?” She responded, “It's okay... I don't see how you do it, Kento.” He gave her a questioning look, “What do you mean?”
“Manage to be the 5th highest grade in class and have time to relax and have fun.” she stated.
“I'm just awesome that way.” he smiled largely. She giggled, “Geez, conceited much?”
“Haha, well if you need any help we could study at my place, unless you're finally gonna let me come over to your place?” he smirked as she shook her head, “What makes this time different than the other times you and Shizu asked me?”
“Oh come on.” he pleaded. “Just a glimpse.” She shook her head as she stopped, “Here's our stop, I'll see you tomorrow.”
“One day, Aya. I swear I will hang out with you at your house.”
“Yea, the same day I fall in love with a celebrity.” she sarcastically stated. “Ha, as if that would happen.” He waved, “Well, until tomorrow.”
“See ya.” she stated taking off. Kento headed off and after a few steps, turned around and peeked the corner. Aya was walking off home. He smirked, “I'll find out for sure this time.” He quietly stalked after her as she turned a corner. He went after, but as he peeked into the corner, he looked surprised. He went into the open, “A dead end? What the... Where'd you go, Aya?”

This is how it is all the time. Every now and then, Kento thinks he's smart enough to stalk me and find out where I live. I may not be as smart as him, but I am pretty clever. I've got all these hidden passages to the house, ways that would confused him. I've used almost every one and they're all in completely different locations. He's probably freaking out confused about the different places I've gone and trying to figure out which place I actually live. You might be wondering, 'Hey he and Shizu are your best friends! Why haven't you invited them over or why don't they know where you live?' Truth is, no one knows. Well except one person. Of course, he's the last person I'd want knowing where I live, but there's a good reason why he does.

“I'm home...” she said as she entered the large, mansion-like house. She took off her shoes, placing them in their rightful spot by door. She dropped off her school bag in her room and went down to the kitchen. She placed her apron on and began cooking for dinner.
“We're home.” she soon heard as a young 11 yr old boy pounces into the kitchen and smiles, “Aya-nee-chan! What did you make today?!” She smiled, “I've got some cookies in the oven, but that's all I've gotten to make.” She then heard, “Geez, just cookies... come on. I've had a long day. Can't you make something bigger and more filling?” She glared, “Hey, you seemed to be having an awesome day at lunch earlier. Besides I'm loaded up on homework and this is all I had time to make. If you want something more filling then make it yourself!”
“But that's your job, not mine.” he smirked as she growled, “Ugh, fine! What do you want?!” HE smiled evilly, “Hmm, how about some horse radish for dinner. That sounds great... Oh! And a cake for dessert! Homemade of course!”
“What?! But that could take hours! I'd have to go to the store for all the ingredients.” she screamed appalled.
“Then you better get started.” he smiled leaving the room as his younger brother called, “Yuto-nii-chan, why are you always so mean to Aya-nee-chan? That's sooo mean!”
“It's her job Raiya. Leave her to it.” he answered as he went into his room and began banging on his drums. She growled ferociously, “Grrr! That jerk!” She quickly grabbed a jacket and some money as she stormed outta the house. “That jerk! That jerk! That jerk!”

So, the one person who does know where I live is Nakajima Yuto. Yes he's the same senior Yuto at my school who's in the famous band Hey! Say! JUMP and is the dream man of most girls. He's probably the main reason I don't like stars. Sure I shouldn't group them all with him, but urgh! He's so infuriating! He's such a brat always ordering me around like that! He loves to mess with me! Sometimes I wish he'd act like he does in school. We never acknowledge each other. He's just a senior guy who every girl is in love and I'm just a junior girl dreaming of the perfect romance. Not even a glimpse of each other... but when we're at home... URGH! That all he does is pester me! Truthfully I think he's the reason I can never manage to get my best scores in school. He's always giving me stupid orders so I don't have time to study or do homework. I'm usually up late finishing stuff. Yes I did say when we're at home. We are in fact living together and we are not siblings. No! Seriously, we are not doing anything gross! Ew, no way would I... especially with that guy. Truth is, the reason that I don't have my friends over is because that house isn't mine. Sure I live in it, but it's a home given to me, but not to own. I... was an orphan at a young age. My mother died giving birth to me and my father died in a car accident when I was 5. So Yuto's mother had taken me in, but I became the maid in the family and I still am after these last almost 12 years. Thus, I have to follow that stupid jerk's orders! Ugh... It makes me sooo sad that every time I hear his surname, I think of Kento. Why did they have to have the same surname?!! Why?! This jerk and that perfect guy? So completely different!
