“Oh my gosh~! No way!” Aya heard as she walked into school a few days after. Girls were gossiping again all over the school. She headed into her class when a surprise look came on her face. She went over to her seat and stood over the person sitting in it.
“What are you doing here?” she asked him. “Class is starting soon, you should be in your classroom.”
“Do you have a problem with me being here?” he asked. “'Im just trying to fix a problem...”
“And what problem would that be?” she wondered. He smiled, “You'll see... is your entire class here?” She nodded as he came to the front of the class, “Minna~ I have an announcement. Hey! Say! JUMP will be performing at the school's spring festival this Friday!” All the girls in her class squealed happily as he said, “Be sure to thank Aya for that. It was her brilliant idea.” The girls gave her a look as she groaned, “Yuto...” He smiled, “She's been a great assistant to us and we hope it will continue that way. Please treat her well.” Everyone in the class began talking about it as he left the room. Aya dropped her bag at her seat and rushed after him, “Yuto! What the hell! You just made the situation worse! Now they're all gonna think you're doing this because of me! You should've left things as they were!”
“And let those girls keep harassing you? No way. I'm not gonna let that happen.” he said confidently. She groaned, “After that announcement they'll be harassing me even more. They hate all the attention I get from you guys!”
“Look I won't let them do anything to you anymore.” he said. “Since you'll be assisting us, they would want to be nice to you so they can hang out with us.” She sighed, “But they know I won't do that!”
“Aya, just trust me. I'll take care of you. Just do as I say... if people ask, you're assisting us.” he told her as she nodded, “Alright, I just hope this works...”
“So... working for JUMP again...” she heard as she was cornered by the senior girls. “Whoring yourself all over them like usual...” She defended, “They asked me to help--” One interrupted, “Stop denying it already, you slut! You threw yourself at them to get them to perform at the spring festival didn't you?!”
“I didn't! And besides, I bet you all want them to perform don't you?” she answered back.
“That's besides the point!” they all yelled. “Look, you had better--”
“Aya! There you are.” they soon heard as Yuto came by. They girls got out of his way as he stood in front of her, “What are you girls up to?” One smiled, “Oh you know? The usual girl talk with Aya...”
“That sounds fun... sorry, but do you mind me stealing her away for a second?” he wondered as they shook their heads, “Go ahead. Take your time. We'll see you later Aya.” They left as she sighed in relief. Yuto told her, “See... I'll make sure they won't bug you anymore.”
“Its not like you'll be around me all the time...”
“That's why the other members will be watching out for you too.”
“Yuto... I really appreciate it but I don't want to trouble you guys--” He interrupted, “Aya, we want to help. You've done so much for us in the past. And I feel like its my fault you're in this mess.”
“You weren't the one to spread the rumors.” she told him. He nodded, “I know that, but because I had you keep it a secret... whoever found out about it was able to stretch the truth. Aya, I don't like seeing you suffering like this...I have gotta end this.”
“Please don't Yuto. You're gonna make it worse.” she sighed.
“Have some faith in me.” he beamed. “I'll make sure they leave you alone.” She thought, “Well... alright...” He said, “Come on. We're having a rehearsal.”
“But I need to get some assignments done...” she told him as he sighed, “I know. Just sit in there. You can study while we practice. That way, I can watch over you, and you can study without having to worry about those girls.” She looked around and quickly hugged him, “Thanks Yuto.”
“Anytime.” he smiled happily as he hugged her back. They took off for the auditorium as she sat on the side studying books and he rehearsed with the 3 other JUMP members.
“... Hmm... She's just sitting there.” some girls said as they peeked into the auditorium. One sighed, “... Do you think... she was telling the truth? About her just helping them?”
“... Well it doesn't seem like she's whoring herself out at them...” another stated. “She's stuck in her books like usual.” Another girl stated, “Maybe... we were wrong about Aya... She seem like any other fans.”
“Haruka and Reila were wrong about her....”
“Speaking of which, where have those two been? They've been gone for the past two weeks.”
“You girls didn't hear? They're in the hospital...” one girl said. “I guess they got some bad karma..”
“Hey, Kento!” he heard on his way to class. He groaned, “What do you want Kuromiya? Just buzz off.” She glared and slapped his head, “I just wanted to talk!” He rubbed his head, “Ah! Geez, then talk! No need to get violent!”
“I have a favor to ask of you...” she stated.
“Everything all ready?” Aya asked as she helped JUMP set up during the festival. Chinen nodded, “Yup! Thanks for your help Aya!” She nodded as Yuto came over, “Hey, I'm getting lunch for everyone. Help me out, will you?” She nodded, “Sure.” They went over and ordered, but while all their orders cooked, they hung around the festival. As they sat down on a bench Yuto asked, “So... how have things been? Those girls been off your back lately?” She nodded with a smile, “Yea. It feels like things are starting to return to normal. Its all thanks to you.” He smiled, “Well I couldn't just let them keep bullying you...”
“You could have... you just didn't want to.” she beamed. “Anyways... you're the best.” He smirked, “Even better than your boyfriend?” Her smile vanished as he thought, “Hey, I was just messing around... no need to get serious...”
“Sorry... Kento and I... we're taking a break from each other...” she explained.
“....So you broke up?”
“Not technically.” she told him. “On a break...”
“Aya!” they soon heard as one of Kento's friends ran over. “Hey, you seen Kento around?” She shook her head, “Sorry... I haven't..” Then someone nearby told them, “He left school earlier with Shizu. They were in a rush so I must have been important.”
“With Shizu?” Aya thought as Kento's friend asked, “So... you both have moved on huh? He's with Shizu now... and you're with him?” He looked at Yuto as Aya bit her lip, unsure of what to say.
“... I can't really answer that... I'm not sure about Kento and Shizu... but Yuto and I aren't together... we're just friends.”
“...oh... well I'll see you around...” he said walking off. Aya sighed and thought, “Could it be.. that Shizu has really been after Kento... this whole time?”
“So I was thinking... since finals are coming up, maybe we can study together...” he said as they headed back to the auditorium with the food. She though in silence and soon said, “I dunno Yuto... the girls--”
“Aya, don't use them as an excuse anymore...” he interrupted her. “I told you they won't be a problem anymore. Let me help you out...” She sighed, “I'll think about it...Now, hurry up. Your performance starts in an hour.” He thought, “Alright...”

“Wohoo!!!” Everyone cheered as their performance soon ended. Yabu then announced, “Minna arigatou!! There's only a few hours left of the festival so be sure to enjoy yourself.” Yuto added, “I hate to bring it up, but finals are in two weeks... that's a lot of studying we'll all be doing.” Groans echoed all around as he laughed, “Well, we want to have a study group! Be sure to join us!”
“The BEST members will also be helping out! Don't be shy~!” Kei smiled to everyone as they all cheered in excitement. Yuto took a glance to Aya, standing at the front row as he smiled/ She sighed, but nodded. A larger smile grew on his face, glad to know that Aya would join their study group. For the next week the JUMP members helped the students study. Aya and Yuto studied together during school as well as at Keito's. Then the dreaded week came.
“Good luck!” all the students were saying to each other on their way to class.
“Aya. Good luck.” Yuto smiled to her. She nodded, “Same to you. Thanks again for all the study sessions you've done with me.” He thought and smiled, “Let's see how well your hard work has paid off...”
“... what do you mean?” she wondered as he smirked, “Let's have a bet. I bet you can't get 90's or higher on all your finals.” She laughed, “Ouch! You have no faith in me at all! Alright I bet I can! What are the stakes?”
“If I win, you'll kiss me. Lips to lips... no loopholes this time.” he beamed. “And we'll go out on a date together.” She blushed a bit and thought, “F-f-fine... but if I win... you'll be my butler for a month! You'll do everything I tell you!” He said, “Damn... a month?” She nodded as he said, “Come on... mine isn't that bad... fine, but then if you lose you'll also be my girlfriend...”
“Fine... I won't lose.” she told him. He shrugged, “We'll find out...” They headed off to class, ready to take on their first dire final.
“Alright... everyone take your seats...” their teacher said as he came in. “Is everyone here---”
“Wait, wait, wait!!!” the class heard as the last two students ran into class. Kento and Shizu rushed into their seats as Kento stated, “Now everyone's here...” The class laughed as the finals were soon handed out.
“... He was with Shizu again... what's up with these two... before, they couldn't even stand being in the same room together... they're actually getting along now...” Aya thought. She sighed, “Don't worry about it Aya... you've got a final to focus on... you can do this!” She went back to work. For the rest of the week the entire school was working hard and diligently on their finals.
