Pairing:Takaki Yuya X OC
Summary: Hakufu, the MVP for her soccer team has been in quite a bad mood lately. Not even winning the championships could cheer her up. Its all because of her two-timing ex boyfriend Takaki Yuya.
“Urgh!” she groaned as she kicked the ball into the goalpost as hard as she could. Pain zoomed through her leg from the strength she put into the kick, but she ignored it.
“GOAL!!!” the ref shouted. “The Blue Lightnings win!!!” The girls screamed in victory as they crowded around their MVP, the one who had made the winning goal. “Way-to-go, Hakufu!! We won the championships!”
“...yea...” she said a bit down.
“Hey... you aren't still upset--” she questioned as Hakufu interrupted, “Yea. I am.” She went off to the locker room, limping a bit as she thought about what had happened a week before.
“What?” she sighed into the phone disappointed. “You said you'd be here, Yuya...”
“I'm really sorry, Haku. Something important came up.” he told her. “I do wish I could come... But I know you'll do great.” She smiled, “Thanks... alright. I'll call you up as soon as the game ends.”
“Goal~!!!” the ref shouted as Haku's best friend Miya made the winning shot. “Blue Lightning's moving onto the championships!” A huge smile formed on Haku's face as she quickly limped over to her team and joined them in a hug. They had finally made it to the championship!
“Is your leg alright?” Miya asked as they changed out of their uniform. “That was a pretty bad fall you took.”
“It wasn't that bad... and my legs fine. Should be better by the end of tomorrow.” she smiled. “I have to be prepared for any pain... since we are soccer player, we could get hurt a lot, but I try not to let the pain get to me.”
“That's very true...” Miya smiled. “Alright. So I saw we have an after party! My place at 5 okay? Go ahead and invite your hottie of a boyfriend too. Maybe he can bring some of us single girls a friend...”
“Haha. I'll let him know, but I doubt he'll be able to come...” she beamed as they walked out of the locker room. “I'm gonna head home... I'll catch ya later.”
“See ya!” Miya said taking off in the opposite direction. Haku being walking home as she pulled out her cell phone and dialed a number. Ring.... Ring... Ring... “Hmm... weird.. he didn't pick up. He always picks up...” It beeped as she left a message, “Yuya~ Great news! We won the semi-finals! You should've seen Miya's winning kick! It was great! Anyways, we're gonna have an after party at her place. Be sure to show up.” She then hung up and stared at his number. She stopped by a shop and then dialed the number again. It rang once. Twice. Before it even reached the third ring, surprised filled Haku's eyes. In the shop she stood next to, was her boyfriend. Happily sitting with his arm wrapped around some girl. He was happily chatting away with her, completely ignoring Hakufu's phone call. Anger, betrayl, and sadness filled her entire body as Yuya soon took notice of her. She quickly ran off, despite her injured ankle, so he wouldn't catch up to her.
“Is your leg still injured from the last game?” Miya asked as the entered the locker room.
“... A little bit, but it's not bad.”
“Geez, you can take anything huh?” Miya smiled. “Any pain thrown at you seems like nothing!”
“... Not every pain...” she thought as her best friend sighed, “Come on. Don't let him get to you... you won the game! You've gotta have some fun at the after party!”
“I'll pass...” she stated. “... I just need to be alone.” She finished changing and left the building.
“Hey... good game out there.” she heard as she left the school. Her blood began to boil as he said, “... That was a great finishing goal.”
“Does it look like I give a crap?” she glared. “Just leave me alone.”
“Come on, Haku...” he told her. “You can't still be mad--”
“Yes I can!” she shouted. “Just stay away from me, jerk.” She began limping off as he slowly followed after, “Need some help--”
“I said leave me alone!”
“Will you at least let me explain myself?” he groaned. “It's not what you think Haku.” She groaned, “Look, I don't care what excuse you have prepared--”
“I wasn't cheating on you--” he interrupted as she just got angry, “Shut up!! I saw you with her!! You freaking ditched my semi-finals to hang out with some other girl!”
“Just let me explain!” Yuya stated upset. “I wasn't cheating on you. That girl is--”
“What? Nothing?” she retorted. “I bet you told her the exact same thing about me!”
“You aren't listening to me Haku!”
“That's kinda the point!” she screamed as she continued on her way but he still followed, “Haku look, she's-”
“I don't care!” she shouted tears forming her eyes. “J-Just please... leave me alone...” She began breaking down as Yuya hugged her, “Haku, calm down-”
“How can I?! I bet you'd feel the same way if you saw me with another guy!” she cried as he tried to comfort her. She continued, “I've been playing sports since I was a kid and I always knew to be ready for any pain. And I was until that day... I didn't know what to do when I saw the two of you--” She was cut off as he kissed her.
“... I wasn't cheating on you. That girl was my cousin. I haven't seen her in the past 10 years and she was only here for that weekend.” he told her as a surprised look came on her face, “Oh man... I feel so stupid now... I'm sorry, Yuya.” He smiled, “It's alright... As long as I'm forgiven.” She nodded and hugged him and they shared a kiss.
