“Uh...” girls groaned the next morning. Aya walked into school, her head held high as girls gossiped when she walked past them. “What's she doing back?” “She should've stayed where she was.” Ignoring all the comments, she went to her shoe cubby which was covered in words. She placed her shoes in and got her school slippers on and went to class. She sat in her now-vandalized desk as a crowd of girls surrounded her, “What are you doing back, Natsume?”
“It's school. I'm here to learn.” she stated, not looking them in the eyes and focusing on the textbook she took out. A girl slammed her hand on her desk and yelled, “No one wants you here so why don't you get that slutty attitude outta here?!”
“I want her here.” Shizu said as she walked in. “Sorry I'm late Aya.”
“It's ok..” she shrugged. “Look, I don't care if I'm unwanted. The reason I'm here is to learn so I can have a good education, leading to a good college, a good career, thus a good future. That's it.” Shizu pushed past all the girls and said, “Alright, you've said what you had to say, now get outta here before I kick your asses.” The girls sneered and walked away. Aya sighed in relief as Shizu smiled, “Aren't you cool?”
“Cool? I don't think so.” she groaned. “I hate being hated by people... I mean I can't help it that Yuto's mom adopted me. I'm glad she did, but... urgh... why do these girls have to be so obsessed with them?!”
“They're hot! Popular! They're a girl's ideal man!” Shizu replied. “That's why girls are obsessed with them!”
“... that's not exactly helping me Shizu...” she pouted.
“Aya!” Kento beamed as he ran over hugging her. “You're back! Why didn't you tell me?!”
“I wanted it to be a surprise.” she smiled. “By the way...” She pulled out a bento as he screamed happily, “Ah! Aya, I freaking love you! I miss good food!!”
“You really need to cook for me soon Kento.” she smiled, “I seriously don't think its as bad as you say.”
“Believe me it is--”
“Aya, I can't let you eat his food! You could die!” Shizu panicked. Kento nodded chowing down on the bento already, “For once I need agree with the freak...”
“See- Hey!” Shizu whacked him as Aya sighed, “Well, just a little. And it doesn't need to be now..”
“Students, please take your seats.” the sensei said as he walked in.

“So you are back.” Aya heard as she was on her way to the restroom. Keito stood by his classroom door as she nodded with a smile, “Yup. I am.”
“Ugh... pain to my eyes... why'd you come back...” Yuto groaned as Keito gave him a look, “Yuto...”
“I came back because I wanted to.” she told them. She gave smiled, “Thanks... both of you for convincing me to come back.”
“Me? Help you? You gone crazy?” Yuto gave her a look. She scoffed, “Haha, maybe... but you did remind me of why I always tried my best in school. Thus convincing me to continue.” He didn't respond as he walked off saying, “Whatever... You are crazy...” She laughed softly, “Well, I guess I'll see you around?”
“Yea... hey.” he called. “I'd watch out for some of those girls...” She nodded, “Yea, I know. And it's not just some... it's mostly all...”
“And I'd especially keep an eye on the ones you call your friends... they could be the most dangerous.” he stated. She thought and said, “Well, thanks for the advice... really gotta go now.” He nodded as she ran off, into the bathroom. As she washed her hands when she was done, she heard, “well if it isn't the little slut...” She groaned as she turned to some senior girls, “Doesn't matter how much make up you wear, guys aren't interested in someone like you.”
“I don't even wear make up..” she responded, “And I'm not the one throwing myself at them like you girls are...”
“Sure you aren't... that explains why you're dating Kento...” one said as she replied, “I didn't know he was apart of Johnny's Entertainment until a few weeks ago--”
“God, stop with the lies already?! You aren't fooling anyone!”
“It's the truth, but it's up to you whether you believe me or not.” she stated, heading for the door, but they blocked her off.
“Stop trying to act cool! God, its so pathetic when losers try to be cool!”
“You mean like all you girls?” she replied as they glared, “You're in for it now, Natsume!” One girl gripped her hair tight as she groaned, “What the hell--- Urgh! Let go!” She pushed her into the wall as the other girls grabbed buckets full of water and threw it at her.
“You're lucky we're so nice... otherwise you would've been in a lot more trouble.” they sneered as they walked out, leaving Aya drenched in cold water.

“Aya where have you---” Shizu said as she stopped when she saw her drenched. “Oh god! Who did it?! I swear they're dead!” She shook her head, “It's okay... just forget it ever happened. I need to listen to the next lesson...”
“Aya, you could catch a cold!” she said.
“I'll be fine...” she told her sitting down taking out her notebook.
“Aya--”
“Holy crap, Aya!” Kento yelled when he saw her. “What the hell happened to you?!”
“..it's nothing--”
“This isn't nothing!” he said putting his jacket around her. “Come on, let's get you into some dry clothes before you get sick--”
“Kento, I can't miss any more lessons!” she stopped him. “I'll be fine okay?”
“No it's not okay!” he groaned. “Who was it?! I'm gonna freaking kill those girls!”
“Just forget it.” she told him.
“Aya, we can't do that!” Shizu responded. “Those girls are just gonna keep picking on you if you don't do something about it!” Kento nodded, “Exactly! We can't let this happen again!”
“Look, nothing happened alright?!” she explained clutching Kento's jacket tightly around her. “Just... let me study...” She zoned them all out as she focused on her assignments.

“Aya, come on. It's time to go...” Shizu said standing by her desk.
“Go on ahead... I focus better when I'm here...”
“... I'll wait for you then.” she stated.
“You have to get to drama.” she told her as she shrugged, “I'll ditch today--”
“Shizu, I'll be fine. Just go.” she said seriously.
“...alright...” she sighed as she walked out of the classroom.

“Whoa... what happened to you?” she heard a few minutes later as she sighed, “Nothing okay? Just go away...”
“Geez, what's your problem?” he wondered squatting down in front of her. She groaned, “Look, I just want to focus on my work right now. Can't you leave me alone?”
“But then that's not like me...” he gave a small smile. “So you gonna tell me why you're all wet?”
“It was nothing--”
“Then why do you look so... hurt..” he stated he stared at her face. She looked away, “I do not.” He sighed, “Fine.. don't tell me... it's not like I actually care about you... or anything...”
“So then what are you doing here?” she gave him a look. He shrugged, “Dunno, I was bored, saw you and thought I'd bug you.”
“Well you're doing a great job...” she sighed reviewing her notes.
“Thanks.” he smiled.
“That wasn't really a compliment...” she responded. “And if you're so bored, why don't you go pick up Raiya and go home?” He groaned, “Ugh... I don't wanna go home though...” She asked, “Why not?” He explained “Because it's boring at home...”
“Geez, you complain to much...” she groaned. He nodded, “Yup, I do... tell you what? I'll stop if you tell my what happened to you...” She told him, “You realize I've already mastered the art of zoning people out when they get annoying...”
“Haha, I guess that's true...” he laughed a bit.
“... so when are you gonna go?”
“Geez, you want me gone so badly? What happened to zoning people out?”
“It's less work for me if you just leave.”
“Well giving you less work isn't like me.”
“Then can you be like Keito for the rest of the time you're here?” she begged as he stated, “You know my condition....” She sighed, “Nothing happened alright? I... I just got my clothes all dirty so I washed up...”
“Washed up? More liked drenched up? I doubt you'd be stupid enough to take a shower under a faucet... if that's even possible.” he thought taking the seat next to her. She turned, “Well, it looks like I am...”
“Come on... do you think that badly of yourself?” he told her. “Sure, people talk, but not everything people say are the truth...You aren't stupid...”
“Huh, so you are being nice...” she smiled a bit. He scoffed, “Damn... you got me... Okay, I'm being nice... so tell me the truth now will ya? And don't say nothing.”
“Well what if nothing is the truth?” she raised an eyebrow as he laughed, “Come on, don't try to be smart with me... tell.”
“I don't need to tell you anything.” she told him as he stated, “Come on, I'm trustworthy. What's the worst possible thing that can happen?”
“More problems like this--” she said as she stopped. He smiled, “Gotcha... so it was the girls...” She sighed, “Yea... but don't worry about it--”
“Oh yea... I won't worry that you're getting harassed by girls all because of me...” he said sarcastically. “I know I can be heartless, but I'm not THAT heartless...” She thought, “Why the sudden change of heart?”
“I'm just worried...” he stated. “Don't you think you should get outta those wet clothes already? You'll get sick.”
“Calm down. I'm fine...” she smiled.
“So they drenched you because of the rumors?” he questioned as she nodded, “Yea...and you hanging around me isn't really helping you know?”
“What about your boyfriend?” he raised an eyebrow. She shrugged, “Well, his band just Debut. They aren't as famous as JUMP just yet...”
“Good point... but I'm still sticking around.” he said. “At least dry up...”
“Can you just let me finish?”
“Geez, just trying to help.”
“Wow, you? Helping? You really are being Keito...”
“Hmm, if I didn't know any better, I'd think you're in love with him... You're always talking about him.”
“Hello? Remember that guy I'm always hanging around, Kento? Yeah, newsflash. He's my boyfriend.”
“I know that... god, Aya...” he sighed. “Don't need to keep rubbing it in...”
“Rubbing it in? Wait-- are you craving a relationship?” she asked suddenly interested. “Wow, this is huge! The most you've ever done was flirt with girls! You've never had a crush on someone! Who is she?! God I hope she knows what she's in for...”
“Hey, what's that suppose to mean?” Yuto gave her a look as she smiled, “Ugh... nothing, tell me who she is!” He gave a smirk, “Now why would I tell you? I figured out what happened to you all on my own...”
“Fine, if I ask you questions will you answer them truthfully?”
“... maybe some...”
“Okay, does she go to this school?”
“Yes she does.”
“Ugh... fangirl then...” she thought. “I'm losing interest already.” He laughed, “Wow... just because she a 'fangirl'? She would probably kill you if you told her that.”
“That I can believe. The fangirls here are crazy... Why would you have a crush on one of the girls here?”
“Just the way she is...I guess...” he explained with a small smile. “She's caring majority of the time... she always listen to me and I can tell her practically anything... she keeps me entertained and she's really pretty...”
“Pretty? Whatever happened to 'hot' girls?” she wondered. “I thought they were more of your type.” He shook his head, “Nah, pretty is a much better description. The best thing about her would be the way she always tries her best and keeps persevering. That and the fact she knows both the good and bad points of me, yet she's still always there for me. She knows me not as the celebrity in HSJ, but as me.”
“... wow and she still hangs out with you?!” she said surprised. “She hasn't left you at all?!”
“Shut up~” he whacked her head. She smiled cutely, “I've never heard you talk about a girl with so much feeling... You must really like this girl.”
“I guess so...” he laughed a bit. “God... I can't believe I just told you all that...”
“I'm surprised too.” she giggle. “She... sound pretty nice. I can't wait to meet her...”
“You've already met her...”
“I have? Aw, I feel stupid now... who is she?” Aya thought as Yuto then stated, “You remember that concert we had, where you and your friends were backstage and we did confessions?” She nodded. “I confessed to her the exact way I did then.”
“... Leah Dizon doesn't go to this school...” she said confused. “Yuto, she's like 6 years older than you--”
“God, dense as always.” he sighed. “I'm not talking about her, okay? God, there's only one other person who I confessed to... that time it was a real confession, even though she didn't know it.”
“Yuto that only leaves me--” she stopped in shock as he sighed relief, “Thank god! Finally figured it out...” He looked at her and sighed, “... That confession I gave you... it was a real confession... and well... you already heard me talk about you earlier... Aya, I love you.”
